Courtney Nilson, OTR/L, CHT
Courtney is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University, and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of Utah. Throughout her career, Courtney has gained experience treating patients with hand and orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, stokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. Courtney was drawn to occupational therapy by the innate desire to help others be able to do the things that matters most to them. She is passionate about working with her patients to help them gain more independence in their everyday lives. Courtney enjoys living an active lifestyle and spending time with family and friends. She continues to enjoy running and had ran competitively throughout high school and college. In Utah, she gained a love for hiking and skiing. She moved to New York for her graduate school program and loved all things city life but changed her location when her husband's work took them to California. She has since been in California for the past 2 years working with Sutter Health. She enjoys hiking, hanging out with her husband and two dogs, and exploring good food places!
