vKim Van Ysseldyk is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Clinical Genetics Nurse.  Kim has over 15 years of experience in cancer risk assessment and genetic testing, and has provided leadership and development expertise for cancer risk assessment programs.  Kim is on the Board of Directors for the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBoC), serves as co-chair of the High Risk Administration committee and is a member of the Breast Cancer Risk and Genetics planning sub-committee.   She has been a founding member of the Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment Certification Committee of NCBoC.  Kim has provided consultation for program development to other Nurse Practitioner led cancer genetics programs.  She has presented extensive lectures and poster abstracts on cancer risk assessment, hereditary cancer genetics and the role of advanced practice providers in cancer genetics.
