Dr. Sara Szkola is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine and a pediatric hospitalist at Stanford Health Care TriValley and California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Szkola also co-chairs the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Community Pediatric Hospital Medicine Subcommittee, leading national initiatives that elevate the voices and needs of community-based pediatric hospitalists. She is a Co-Director of Stanford Pediatric Hospital Medicine Regional Simulation Programs, and her work in simulation, resuscitation training, and low-cost, high-impact education has been recognized across multiple institutions. Dr. Szkola is passionate about creating resilient systems that support high quality pediatric care and the teams that deliver it.
