Joel Reed is a Vice President at BTS in San Francisco, California where he partners with leading, global organizations to drive alignment, shift mindsets, build capabilities, and ignite change.   

Since 2001 Joel has led global initiatives in support of strategy, business transformation, customer-centricity, talent development and culture creation.   In addition to supporting multi-year initiatives and driving change across organizations like Google, Visa, and Workday, Joel has worked with Sutter Health in supporting senior leaders to build financial and strategic acumen.   Today, he supports teams from both Sutter and BTS to drive value and change through aligned, amazing experiences.

Within BTS, Joel helps to lead BTS’ largest region, partners with senior client leaders, manages global teams, provides mentorship, and builds internal capabilities.  

Prior to joining BTS, Joel worked in business development and business transformation at several ‘.coms’, developed a wholesale coffee business, and, growing up, played an integral role the family’s mountain sporting goods and guide service. Joel graduated from Colorado State University with a dual major in business and tourism.  On the weekends, you’ll often find him at family sporting events near his home in San Carlos, CA, and fitting in trail running and small adventures when he can.
