Jennifer Cuzzolina, MSN, RN, CIC, CHSE – Region IX Special Pathogens Program Manager, Cedars Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles CA.  Jennifer began supporting the Special Pathogens Program in 2017 as an Infection Preventionist in the Department of Epidemiology.  In June of 2020, she transitioned to a full-time role with the program focusing on curriculum development of special pathogen preparedness and training of response team members.  She now serves as the Program Manager of the Special Pathogens Program, overseeing internal readiness as well as leading efforts to serve as a special pathogens resource to healthcare partners across US HHS Region IX.  Jennifer serves as a subject matter expert on multiple workgroups for the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center (NETEC) including Biocontainment Unit Leadership and Regional Coordination Workgroups, and serves as a coordinator for the Level 2 expansion efforts across Region IX.
