Erinn Lezotte, None
I’ve been an Executive Assistant (a.k.a. Admin or Sr. Secretary) in some capacity for over 20 years. My first administrative job was pulling and reviewing legislative bills for a lobbyist from the printing office under the CA State Capitol. Life then took me to Los Angeles where I supported Morgan Stanley Investment Bankers at the center of the “Dot Com Boom” in the late 90s and subsequent “Bust” in the early aughts.
After that, I supported the “unofficial” General Counsel to the Westfield Corporation in Century City. “Unofficial” allowed him extra latitude and he was affectionately known as the organization’s “junkyard bulldog.” My work at this time was shaped greatly by the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center as Westfield corporation had closed on a 99-year lease managing the shopping center under the Trade Center on August 24, 2001. Several years were subsequently spent supporting Westfield’s team coordinating with Silverstein and the Port Authority teams all arguing with insurers that two planes = two buildings = two payouts (I believe that argument eventually lost.)
Eventually life found me returning to Sacramento and to somewhat less “exciting” organizations like Dignity and Shriners…until Sutter!! It’s ALL ABOUT the CULTURE for me here at Sutter! My colleagues are some of the best people I’ve ever known in my life, let alone had the honor to work amongst. I’m also given the opportunity to stretch my skills in myriad ways.
My standout skills:
PowerPoint Presentations - my passion is making data and complex ideas visually interesting. My philosophy is that you can make much more of an impact with aesthetically pleasing, than boring, data.
I’m not all creativity and fun, I love a good Excel spreadsheet.
Just call me The Font Police!
