Nicole Stern, MD, MPH
Dr. Nicole Stern is a citizen of the Mescalero Apache Tribe of New Mexico. She earned her MD, and completed an Internal Medicine residency, at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. She was a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She was a Commonwealth Fund Fellow in Minority Health Policy at Harvard Medical School and received a MPH in Health Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Stern currently works at Sansum Clinic at Urgent Care, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Sansum Santa Barbara Medical Group. She is the Board appointed liaison to the Advanced Practice Liaisons for Sansum Clinic. She is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. She is also a past President of the Association of American Indian Physicians.
