Jill Huckels is a Manager on the Design & Innovation team at Sutter Health, where she leads two key initiatives. She oversees the development of Scout by Sutter Health, a resilience-building app for teens and young adults, and Design Garage, an accelerator program that applies design thinking methodology to address complex challenges across Sutter Health’s healthcare system.

Jill earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and a Master’s in Management Science & Engineering with a focus on Healthcare from Stanford University. At Stanford, she cultivated her passion for design thinking through training at the d.school. Her work has spanned both U.S. and global healthcare initiatives, including creating a community health program in Bolivia, improving the quality of life for individuals with spinal cord injuries in India and Palo Alto, and enhancing treatment retention for clubfoot in Madagascar.
