My name is Laurensia Urip and I reside in Sacramento, CA. I graduated with my B.S. in Biochemistry at UC Riverside and my Doctor of Pharmacy from Loma Linda University. I am passionate about serving in leadership where I can collaborate with interdisciplinary system leaders to advance the practice of pharmacy and expand the services that pharmacists can provide. I have worked in the pharmacy world as a volunteer, intern, and now as a pharmacist. I have co-authored and published research on monotherapy sodium zirconium cyclosilicate versus sodium polystyrene sulfonate for acute hyperkalemia in Hospital Pharmacy, a peer-reviewed journal, to promote best practices and medication safety. Currently, I am a PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) resident pharmacist at Sutter Medical Center (SMCS) in Sacramento where my main focus is acute care.
