Description:
Lean AP is a Lean leadership training and development program. Getting its namesake from high school advanced placement classes, Lean AP is an in-depth, rigorous 6-month course study on the principles and practices of Lean. The Program aims to develop Lean thinkers and practitioners through a series of workshops designed to put theory in to practice. Lean AP is not teaching Lean for Lean sake. Rather, the Program fosters direct application of Lean principles and practices on everyday opportunities, accelerates strategy and performance improvement, addresses the “pebble in your shoe,” and builds leadership’s coaching capabilities. Lean AP focuses on Lean leadership and the management system to continuously improve our care for our patients, each other and our organization. Built on the principles of Respect for People and Continuous Improvement, Lean AP endeavors to support your ability to manage processes but lead people.
