Description:
There is comfort level in having empathetic, compassionate and life affirming conversations with families of children with life limiting diagnoses. The aim of this activity is to help healthcare professionals and students develop essential communication skills when supporting grieving families in pediatric palliative care settings. The activity focuses on integrating the core principles of pediatric palliative care with empathetic listening, compassionate responses, and effective strategies for holding difficult conversations.
