Description:
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) often triggers complex diseases of the central nervous system. This session aims to equip acute care clinicians with a comprehensive understanding of medication management strategies in brain injury recovery. Emphasizing the optimization of outcomes, the course focuses on promoting the regaining of consciousness, enhancing alertness and awareness, managing delirium, and addressing cognitive impairments. By improving these key aspects, patients have a greater chance of accessing necessary rehabilitation services as well as getting out of the hospitalized / institutionalized setting.
