Description: 

This course is designed for Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians who want to improve their skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing complex stroke cases. Participants will review key imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and other neuroimaging techniques, and learn how to apply them in stroke diagnosis and treatment. Through case studies, participants will review how to interpret imaging and making informed clinical decisions. This course aims to improve neurological knowledge, competency, and clinical performance in stroke care.

1. Improve interpretation of MRI findings

2. Correlate neuroimaging to patient presentation

3. Review common imaging nomenclature and terminology

4. Increase awareness & knowledge of current stroke patient management

5. Review social issues, age, gender, language and ethnicity impact on clinical presentation
