This talk is designed to help acute care clinicians (ICU physicians, hospitalists, surgeons, PAs, trainees etc.) understand the principles of medication management in brain injury recovery so that patients have the best chance to regain consciousness, improve their alertness and awareness, lessen/manage their delirium and cognitive impairments to improve their participation so that they may access necessary rehabilitation services and get out of the hospitalized/institutionalized setting.

4.) Assess the differences in outcomes seen across age and socioeconomic status for patients hospitalized after brain injury
