This presentation will review evidence demonstrating the effectiveness of suicide prevention practices in healthcare, highlight the importance of strategies that extend beyond traditional mental health encounters, and examine the feasibility and broad support among both firearm owners and healthcare professionals for distributing firearm locking devices.
