Description:
This virtual grand rounds session will help clinicians better recognize and manage melanoma by covering key risk factors, staging basics, and when surgical treatments like sentinel lymph node biopsy are needed. Presentation staff will focus on practical guidance for knowing when to refer patients with worrisome skin changes, whether that's sending them to dermatology for evaluation or connecting newly diagnosed melanoma patients with specialized oncology care. The goal is to give you the confidence and clear pathways to ensure your patients get the right care at the right time, ultimately improving outcomes through better coordination between primary care, dermatology, and melanoma specialists.
