Description:
Multidisciplinary teams caring for oncology patients often lack clarity on current eligibility criteria and referral pathways for transplant consideration and emerging ablative therapies like histotripsy, potentially delaying or missing opportunities for curative or palliative interventions. This virtual grand rounds will provide a comprehensive review of evidence-based selection criteria across various malignancies, explore histotripsy as an innovative non-invasive treatment alternative, and outline standardized referral processes that clarify the roles of different specialists in identifying appropriate candidates for transplant or advanced ablative procedures.
