Description
The clinical leadership excellence program as a whole is implemented to provide new and existing physician leaders with skills and strategies needed to succeed in their roles using the 4 E’s of Exploration, Education, Exposure and Experience. This series of 90-minute modules that occur approximately once a month over 11 months, includes pre-work before each module and modules cycle through a different topic each month to allow leaders to complete the full program within a year. This year there will be a special focus on Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Principles of DEI will be woven into all modules where leaders can identify, describe and apply inclusive behaviors.
The Joy of Work module is designed to strengthen leadership and communication skills for current and emerging leaders at PAFMG. Participants will explore their responsibilities within the PAFMG Compact, develop effective communication strategies across all levels of the organization, and learn to craft messages that engage and persuade diverse audiences. The course also covers practical tools and techniques for running efficient, results-driven meetings, empowering leaders to foster clarity, collaboration, and accountability in their teams.
Program features:
• Utilize Telepresence video conference rooms in each geography to minimize drive time
• Incorporate adult learning styles – combination of didactic, exercises and interactive learning
• Facilitated by internal subject matter experts (both physicians and operational leaders)
• Designed to address competencies needed based on physician leader job descriptions
• Stand-alone content to allow leaders to join at any point in the rotation of topic
