Description:
This one-hour nursing grand rounds will provide an overview of palliative care and its role in improving the quality of life for patients with serious illness. Participants will learn strategies for symptom management, explore the emotional and spiritual dimensions of care, clarify distinctions between palliative care, hospice, and comfort care, and practice communication techniques to support patients and families during difficult decisions.
