Description
In this session, we will review travel-specific health recommendations and resources for primary care providers to help prepare their pediatric patients for international travel. We will discuss pre-travel vaccinations, counseling on prevention of illnesses, and prescribing malaria chemoprophylaxis. We will also review the launch of the Travel Readiness in Pediatrics (TRIP) clinic for PAMF patients who are 0-18 years of age.

1. Identify available resources to help clinicians provide pre-travel counseling to a specific region/country.
2. Provide patient counseling on the risks/benefits and recommendations for accelerated routine vaccines and travel related vaccines for pediatric patients.
3. Advise on the prevention of vector-borne illnesses and identify when to prescribe malaria chemoprophylaxis
