0880_EMC_Rhythm Expedition Series 2026_Live
Description:
This course is designed for RNs to address practice‑based performance gaps by focusing on advanced interpretation skills, clinical decision‑making, and application of rhythm analysis in dynamic patient scenarios. Through case‑based learning, multi‑lead correlation, high‑risk rhythm identification, and integration of lab findings, medications, and patient presentation, participants will strengthen their ability to rapidly and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms in real clinical settings. Special emphasis is placed on recognizing subtle or complex dysrhythmias, identifying clinical red flags, determining necessary interventions, and escalating care appropriately to improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
1.) Identify basic and advanced cardiac rhythms, including normal sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and heart blocks
2.) Assess appropriate interventions (e.g., medication administration, calling for immediate provider assistance, initiating ACLS protocols)
3.) Understand the role of electrolyte imbalances on cardiac rhythms and their basic manifestations on the ECG.
