Samantha Kettle, PsyD

Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Kettle studied anthropology at McGill University and received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Pacific University. Dr. Kettle specializes in brief interventions, recovery-based care, and multicultural/feminist psychology. Before joining Sutter's Family Medicine Residency Program in 2017, she worked in Community Mental Health for a number of years, and then within the Department of Veterans Affairs for a decade. Dr. Kettle continues to teach medical students at UC Davis and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). She enjoys helping people clarify their goals and move toward their values for optimal wellness. When not working; Dr. Kettle enjoys being with her family, eating, reading, taking walks, and being outdoors.
