The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends routine screening for depression and anxiety in both adults and adolescents, regardless of risk factors, to improve care outcomes. Yet, implementing these screenings in primary care settings can be challenging. This session will explore the importance of mental health screening in primary care and introduce practical tools and strategies to integrate assessments into clinical workflows—enhancing screening rates and ensuring timely follow-up care.
