Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Music Performance, followed by completion of post-baccalaureate pre-med studies at Columbia University.  She completed her Doctorate of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine in 2005.  Following completion of her OBGYN residency at Kaiser Oakland in 2009, she began working as a generalist OBGYN at CPMC in private practice.  Her group joined PFMA (now SWBMG) in 2012.  She worked within Sutter leadership roles, including the Chief of Women's Services at SWBMG starting in 2022 and recently appointed Section Chief of Gynecology for Sutter Health Women's Division in 2025.
