The Director Accelerator Program (DAP) is a transformative learning experience designed to cultivate strategic leadership across Sutter Health. This immersive program equips directors with the essential capabilities to lead with vision, drive innovation, and align their teams with organizational strategy. Through dynamic peer collaboration, experiential learning exercises, and real-time application of leadership principles, participants strengthen their effectiveness in communication, decision-making, and cross-functional teamwork. The DAP program also fosters a vibrant community of leaders who share insights and inspire one another to elevate performance and impact. Ultimately, the leadership growth fostered through DAP contributes to enhanced patient care and improved outcomes for patients and families—reinforcing Sutter Health’s mission and values.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

1.Demonstrate trust building skills learned in class and review techniques to provide coaching to employees to help increase engagement, motivation, and effectiveness, measured by peer coaching and team performance surveys.

2. Demonstrate and build change leadership skills to lead and support change efforts within our organization. Participants will apply the learning to their DAP projects with application of change tools and implementing change methodology from the PROSCI research.

3. Evaluate behaviors associated with specific business objectives and results. 2.) Create a culture transformation plan, using the 'Partner's in Leadership' Results Pyramid tool, to guide teams during project implementations.
