Suzanne Agarwal, MS, RN 

Suzanne Agarwal MS, RN has worked in emergency and oncology care arenas with significant interest in public health, wellness for patients, their caregivers as well as staff members. She has passion for education with experience as nurse educator for Level 1 trauma centers, staff education for outpatient oncology, as well as guest lecturing at UC San Diego. Over the past decade, she has worked at UC San Diego Health Moores Cancer Center as a nurse case manager and since 2019 as a nurse supervisor for UC San Diego Health Moores Cancer Center Outpatient Oncology Services. In addition to her work as a nurse supervisor, Suzanne conducts research focused on the context surrounding nurse suicide to inform evidence-based comprehensive programs for wellness. Over the past several years, she has presented at various evidence-based practice conferences as well as ACNL and AONL conferences along with her colleagues.

For the UC San Diego Health Nursing Journal for 2025, Suzanne was the co-editor creating a journal focused on wellness that included contributions ranging from new graduates through mid-career to retiring nurses. She has accepted being co-editor for the 2026 journal which will have an evidence-based practice theme. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, gardening, and cars.
