This session explores the emerging role of ambient listening artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical documentation. Ambient AI tools use real-time voice recognition and natural language processing to capture patient-provider conversations and generate structured clinical notes, reducing manual documentation time by up to 2 hours per day per clinician. Drawing on peer-reviewed studies, the presentation will highlight: Evidence of reduced physician burnout and improved clinical workflow efficiency Integration strategies with electronic health records (EHRs) and revenue cycle systems HIPAA compliance, patient consent protocols, and ethical considerations Case studies demonstrating ambient AI’s impact across primary care, specialty practices, and academic medical centers
