Keith Duncan, MD-PHD
I had been blessed to have been associated with Mills Peninsula Hospital since completing my Pathology residency and fellowship at the University of California in 1987; this was after completing the trifecta of BS, MD, and PhD at the University of Southern California. I “retired” from the roles of Pathology Chair and Laboratory Director in 2021 and stepped into the fray as “part-time” CEO of Mills Peninsula Medical Group (MPMG), replacing Robert Hortop, my predecessor. I have been fortunate to work closely with our President Adam Paley and Vice President Buddy Steyer as well as our VP or Operations, Sharon Katz. We have had a challenging time with retirements and recruiting new members as well as supporting our independent physicians. Through it all (and a contentious 3 years as Chief of Staff at MPHS), my wife Cindy Hohle-Duncan and son Ryan have been tremendously supportive.
