Joe Gregorich

Vice President, State Government Affairs, Sutter Health

Joe Gregorich, currently serves as Vice President of State Government Affairs for Sutter Health, where he represents the California not-for-profit system in front of the California legislature and administration.

Prior to joining Sutter in 2018, Joe served as associate Vice President of State Government Affairs for the University of Phoenix, where he advocated on behalf of the university before state legislatures across the country. Joe has spent over 15 years working in State Government and has represented some of the US’s leading manufacturing industries, first as Senor Director of California Government Affairs for TechAmerica and then as Director of State Government Affairs for the Toy Industry Association. Joe began his career working as a legislative staff in the California state Senate, where he was able to gain expertise in the California legislative process.  
 

Joe is the immediate past President of the Equality California (EQCA), California’s Statewide, LGBTQ Advocacy organization, and is a past board member of the State Government Affairs Council (SGAC). Joe holds his bachelor’s degree in economics and legal studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he was also a member of UCSC’s NCAA Men’s swim team.
