Michael Donner, Psychologist and Psychoanalyst

Michael Donner is a psychoanalyst and clinical and forensic psychologist in Oakland, California. He is a Past-President of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis (SFCP), and has served as Co-Chair of the Faculty, Dean of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program, and is now Chair of the Ethics and Impairment Committee. He is a Training and Supervising analyst at SFCP and the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC).
Dr. Donner was also chair the Ethics Committee of the California Psychological Association (CPA), and also served as chair of the CPA Division of Clinical and Professional Practice and the CPA Section on Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
He teaches, publishes and consults on Legal and ethical issues for Mental Health Professionals and on matters relating to Child Custody Evaluations to Family Law Professionals in California and across the Country. He has been a Child Custody Evaluator and Parenting Coordinator for almost 30 years. His family law practice now consists of litigation consultation to attorneys and expert testimony.
