Pedro Laraia is the Director of Talent Management & Team Effectiveness at Sutter Health, where he leads enterprise‑wide talent and performance programs serving more than 50,000 employees. Since beginning his career at Sutter in 2013, Pedro has driven system initiatives that improve leader capability, team performance, and organizational culture—most notably scaling Culture Lab and leading the talent reviews process across divisions and the ELT. He has helped Sutter revamp their performance‑review process and partners closely with physician and nursing executives to strengthen succession pipelines. Earlier, he advanced organizational effectiveness and strategy deployment efforts and completed an administrative fellowship at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Pedro holds an MHA from the University of Minnesota where he was the recipient of the James A. Hamilton Award and a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University. He is Prosci‑certified in change management, a Lean practitioner, and fluent in Portuguese.
