This two-day symposium is designed for otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, residents, medical students, plastics surgeons, dermatologists, and primary care physicians interested in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery (OHNS). The core faculty from Sutter California Pacific Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery along with other Sutter OHNS physicians and a strong collection of internationally renowned lecturers from across various sub-specialties will offer expertise over a spectrum of important topics. Advances in evidence, technology, techniques, and medical management occur quickly in the subspecialties of our field including facial plastics and reconstructive surgery, laryngology, voice and swallow therapy, otology, neurotology, audiology, sialendoscopy, rhinology, sinus surgery, anterior and lateral skull base surgery, obstructive sleep apnea management, and head and neck oncologic and head and neck endocrine surgery. It is important to stay regularly updated! The goal of this academic symposium is to provide clinicians, trainees, and students, with a robust and interesting overview of current practices across the spectrum of adult OHNS with discussion of best practices, guidelines, important publications, new and evolving innovations, and salient social issues related to practice and work-life balance. We will provide an outstanding and exciting educational and social opportunity in the beautiful setting of the Fairmont hotel, San Francisco, and the Bay Area.
