The Physician & APC Emerging Leader empowers Physician’s & APC’s who are new to their role or to leadership, to build the essential skills needed for high performance in healthcare settings. The program reinforces the practical skills and personal development which successful leadership at any level is built upon. Participants will learn about individual and group behaviors that lead to high performance.

Learning Objectives
After completing this program, participants will be able to:
• Identify key concepts of healthcare financial management.
• Explain principles of operational management and workflow optimization
• Apply strategic planning techniques to align daily operations with broader organizational goals
• Describe the clinician leader’s role in driving financial stewardship and operational excellence
• Distinguish between change management and change leadership, and articulate the role of a leader during change
• Recognize the emotional impact of change on individuals and teams
• Apply change ‘Prosci’ Change model to real-world leadership scenarios
• Practice communication techniques that promote transparency, engagement, and trust during change
• Develop strategies to address resistance and sustain momentum in long-term change efforts
• Describe key components of effective, data-informed decision-making
• Apply frameworks for prioritization when making complex decisions
• Understand strategic planning tools (e.g., SWOT analysis, SMART goals) to align team goals with organizational priorities
