Piper Hughes, MD is a board certified nephroligist with Summit Nephrology Medical Group and currently serves as the Transitional Year Residency Program Director at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

Piper did her medical training at East Carolina University Brody School of Medical in Greenville, NC and graduated in 2012. She also did her Internal Medicine and Nephrology Training at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. After serving as Chief Fellow she served as Nephrology Faculty at East Carolina University an Assistant Internal Medicine Clerkship Director prior to moving to California.  

She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. 

Piper also has a B.A. in Physical Anthropology and a M.S. in  Medical Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
