I was born and raised in California's Central Valley. While obtaining my undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology at California State University, Fresno, I worked as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department, which provided invaluable insight into the fast-paced and rewarding nature of the field. I went on to earn my Master’s degree and later graduated from medical school at Touro University California.

As an ER physician, I believe my role extends beyond the emergency department and into the community, where I advocate for addressing knowledge gaps and improving our understanding of medicine’s broader societal role. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our pups, Bubba and Aspen. We love hiking, discovering new local breweries, hosting game nights, cooking for friends and family, and (of course) binge-watching an entire Netflix series in a single sitting.
