Sharon Gip, PharmD , is a postgraduate year 2 emergency medicine resident at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA. She received her doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Gip completed her postgraduate year 1 residency at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, CA. Her passion for emergency medicine stems from the collaborative efforts of the medical team during high-stress situations and the range of clinical pharmacy practice in the emergency department. Her current research interests include clinical toxicology, stroke, and trauma. Outside of medicine, Dr. Gip enjoys board games, reading, and baking.
