Anais Buendia, PharmD, is a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas. Following graduation, she completed her PGY-1 Residency at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, where she gained broad experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinical practice. Her current residency training focuses on pharmacotherapy in critically ill patients, with particular interests in infectious diseases, hemodynamics and optimizing medication safety and efficacy in the intensive care setting.
