Ron Billano Ordona, DNP, FNP-BC, GS-C, WCC, FAANP, is a doctoral NP (DNP), wound care certified (WCC), Gerontological specialist (GS-C), Board Certified (BC), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in home-based primary care private practice caring for homebound older adult population in the Sacramento area. He is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP)

Ordona works extensively with the Geriatric population in community-based care as a health services consultant for a network of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs) operated by RNs, and provides medical house call services to other board-and-care homes, assisted living, and Alzheimer’s memory care units in the area. His latest project is a nurse-led initiative: a congregate living health facility (CLHF) that manages care for patients with long-term trach and vents, PEG tubes, and stage 3 or 4 wounds.

Ordona focuses on Transitions of Care (TOC), specifically on wound care management, prevention, and hospital readmission reduction through community-based care.
