She teaches at the Executive MBA levels both in the U.S. and in Sweden on topics including organizational design and management, strategic human resources, executive decision-making, case analysis, and teamwork, among others. Jessica has served on the boards of the Sacramento Employers Advisory Council and the Capitol Region chapter of the American Red Cross. She actively conducts scientific research and has published dozens of peer reviewed articles in many of the industry’s top peer-reviewed journals and books, and served as one of six Associate Editors at the Scandinavian Journal of Management.
As a consultant, Jessica regularly performs managerial and executive seminars and she is appreciated for her energetic and hands-on facilitation style, her sense of humor, and her keen observation skills, all of which are crucial both with clients and in the classroom. Clients come from both the public and private sectors to learn about topics such as leadership, organizational design, change management, working with millennials, decision-making, leadership, teamwork, and motivation. Working with organizations, Jessica has designed and delivered complete leadership development programs, provided 1:1 leadership coaching, and worked in a “roll up my sleeves and work alongside the client” capacity. She is currently a co-author of the Sacramento Business Review, a public service publication for the Sacramento region (sacbusinessreview.com).
Jessica is blessed with the most energetic fraternal twin boys and volunteering at their school is a high priority. Jessica is also an avid yogi-in-training and is learning to meditate. Any free minutes are spent reading trashy Scandinavian crime novels, sometimes while stirring the pots making spaghetti for dinner.
