Jennifer Lombardi, RN, BSN, BSPH, RNC-OB

In 2010 I graduated with a bachelor's degree in public health with an emphasis in Health Education from San Diego State University. I began working as a Health Educator for chronic disease patients. Working with these patients fueled my passion for becoming a nurse. In 2014, I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with my BSN. I started my career in nursing in San Diego, CA. I joined Sutter Medical Center Sacramento in 2016 working as a labor and delivery RN. SMCS is a high volume, high acuity labor and delivery unit where I learned many valuable skills. I have taught OB simulations for USF school of Nursing and have a passion for Education. In 2021, I took a role as a Clinical Nurse Educator at Sutter Health University. I am the lead educator for our Labor and Delivery Transition in Practice Program and I also Lead a Preceptor Foundations course. I have furthered my own education be obtaining my RNC-OB which is a national certification for inpatient obstetrical nursing. I continue to take continuing education and have strength and skill in labor and delivery, breastfeeding, education, and precepting.
