Aline Van, MSN, CNL, RN, CPHQ, LSSBB is currently working as a Clinical Program Nurse Coordinator for the Bariatric Program at Sutter Health, Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.  Aline has over 25 years of diverse nursing experience including Quality Management, Performance Excellence, Bariatric Coordination, Public Health Nursing, and Case/Utilization Management. She always strived for self-development by learning new skills, and teaching others.  Aline earned her master’s in nursing degree at University of San Francisco as a Certified Clinical Nurse Leader in 2004. She has a passion for healthcare system optimization by quality/process improvement and patient advocacy.  As a Clinical Nurse Leader with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training, Aline had successfully led numerous of diverse complex cross-functional teams in process and quality improvement projects in a variety of healthcare systems.  Aline also has a solid experience in perioperative quality program management and improvement, such as NSQIP and MBSAQIP.  She enjoys working collaboratively with frontline staff, surgeons, and leaders to improve surgical program outcomes, quality and safety, efficiency, and perform research studies. Aline enjoys gardening, Zumba dancing and relaxing at the beach as recreational activities.
