Dr. Varun Takyar is a gastroenterologist with a special interest in liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. For the past five years, he has been a member of the Sutter East Bay Medical Group in Northern California, where his practice includes both general gastroenterology and hepatology, with liver disease accounting for roughly 30% of his patient population.
