This 7-session series covers Lean principles as well as Performance Improvement continuing medical education project design strategies for leaders at Sacramento, Davis, and Amador hospitals to help them deliver on their key results (e.g., Safe, Personal, Affordable, and Accessible Care) and priorities.

Learning Objectives
After Attending This Activity Learners Should Be Able To:
• Apply improvement methodologies to address specific performance gaps or improvement opportunities within your department.
• Solve problems using Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) and employ a variety of methods including A3 thinking.
• Implement effective Daily Engagement Systems (DES) including visual management, linked metrics, tiered accountabilities, leader standard work, integrated operational & equity rounding.
• Coach and develop others to increase their problem-solving capabilities.
