0923_SHSO_What is Health System Science and Why Does It Matter?_Live
Description:
This session introduces Health Systems Science (HSS) and its core domains, including healthcare policy, finance, quality improvement, patient safety, population health, and systems‑based practice, addressing an identified gap in faculty familiarity and confidence with these concepts. Grounded in results from the 2024 Faculty Development Needs Assessment, the activity responds to growing faculty interest in HSS while supporting their ability to teach, model, and integrate systems-based concepts into residency and fellowship training.
