0979_SHSO_Pediatric Emergencies Bootcamp: Recognition, Stabilization, and Simulation-Based Resuscitation_Live
Description:
This live, simulation-based learning event brings together an interdisciplinary team of clinical learners to close critical practice gaps in pediatric emergency care through small group discussion hands-on procedural skills stations, and immersive simulation exercises. Participants will sharpen their ability to recognize early pediatric decompensation, initiate evidence-based resuscitation strategies, and apply crisis resource management principles to deliver coordinated, high-quality care for critically ill children.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this activity, learners will be able:
1. Recognize early clinical signs of pediatric decompensation and impending cardiopulmonary failure.
2. Initiate evidence-based stabilization and resuscitation strategies for pediatric patients presenting with shock, respiratory distress, or extremis.
3. Practice core pediatric emergency procedural skills including airway management, vascular access, and defibrillation.
4. Apply crisis resource management principles and effective team communication during pediatric resuscitation through simulation-based learning.
