Description:
This program equips PTs and OTs with the knowledge and tools to understand PAMF Sutter's mentorship program structure, onboarding processes, and pathways for preceptor development. Clinicians will reflect on the qualities of effective and ineffective preceptorship, apply structured frameworks for feedback and communication, and identify strategies to support common learner challenges. Drawing on best practices in clinical teaching and educational theory, this program aims to standardize core precepting competencies, promote equity and consistency across mentoring relationships, and strengthen the overall quality of clinical education throughout the organization.
