0817_ABSMC_GR: PET Derived Coronary Flow Capacity and Mechanisms of Ischemia to Guide Revascularization_Live
Description:
This Grand Rounds session will explore the latest advances in cardiac PET imaging, focusing on coronary flow capacity and its role in guiding revascularization strategies. Participants will learn to interpret PET-derived flow metrics, understand mechanisms of ischemia; including subendocardial and microvascular dysfunction, and apply these insights to real-world clinical scenarios. Case examples will illustrate how PET can inform decision-making and improve patient outcomes. Join us to enhance your expertise in value-based cardiac care and optimize management of coronary artery disease.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:
1. Define Coronary Flow Capacity and its relationship to common physiologic coronary flow metrics
2. Discuss the outcome data of cardiac PET stress testing with flow capacity on value-based medicine
3. Define and understand other mechanisms of ischemia: subendocardial ischemia and microvascular dysfunction.
4. Review case examples to demonstrate how PET can be used to guide and determine success of coronary revascularization.
