The 2026 Greater San Francisco and East Bay Division Clinician Leadership Summit is a full-day, strategy-driven educational program designed for physician and APC leaders. This in-person summit will convene clinical leaders from across the division to share insights, align on strategic priorities and explore opportunities to enhance patient care delivery. Through a series of interactive sessions, discussions and collaborative exercises, participants will examine approaches to improving care coordination, advancing whole-person care, and strengthening the clinician experience. The program emphasizes practical leadership strategies that can be implemented across diverse clinical settings. Attendees will leave with actionable tools and aligned priorities to support high-quality, patient-centered care and to further develop their leadership impact within the organization.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Analyze variations in clinical practices across divisions, patient populations, and providers to identify patterns in care delivery.
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies in care, including areas where patient needs may not be fully addressed.
- Interpret trends in utilization, clinical outcomes, and patient decision-making patterns to inform care improvement strategies.
- Evaluate barriers to consistent and optimal care, including access limitations, system constraints, and adherence to clinical guidelines/standardized workflows.
- Assess key factors influencing clinical decision-making and their impact on care delivery.
- Determine implications for practice and prioritize opportunities for improving care quality, consistency, and patient outcomes.
- Analyze the impact of alignment between clinicians and leadership on clinician engagement, retention, and patient experience.
- Apply three evidence-informed alignment strategies, leadership behaviors, team development, and reduction of workflow friction, to improve clinician experience and organizational outcomes.
- Utilize data to identify high-risk clinician groups, monitor performance trends, and implement targeted interventions to support engagement and retention.
- Describe the core functions of the Sutter Health Command Center and explain how these functions support patient care delivery.
- Summarize key advancements and measurable outcomes achieved by the Sutter Health Command Center over the past year.
- Apply insights from current and planned Command Center initiatives to integrate relevant strategies into clinical practice.
- Understand how experiences shape beliefs, behaviors, and ultimately organizational results.
- Identify practical ways leaders can intentionally create experiences that reinforce the culture needed to achieve strategic priorities.
